Founded in 2009 in Bend, Oregon, Hydro Flask is considered a pioneer in the insulated bottle industry. The founders, Travis Rosbach and Cindy Morse were frustrated with their water getting lukewarm at the beach, so their goal for Hydro Flask was: “Join us on our mission to save the world from lukewarm.”
So they developed their own bottles armed with patented ThempShield™ technology, that keeps drinks cold for up to 24h, and warm for up to 6 hours all with a lifetime warranty. As of today, the company still headquarters in Bend but is sold worldwide since 2016.
Other characteristics besides providing a longtime warranty are that their bottles are one of the lightest in the insulated hydration category.

Hydro Flask portfolio includes insulated bottles and tumblers for water, coffee, beer, or wine as well as insulated food containers and branded merchandise such as T-shirts, hoodies, and hats.
All insulated products come in various sizes and colours so everyone can find their favorite. Talking about colors, the brand uses special coating, that provides users with a better grip when outdoors on a move. Besides creating sustainable products that replace single use plastics, the brand is supporting multiple non-profit organizations including World Surf League and the Parks for All initiative. In the first case, the brand is replacing the use of plastics in the tour, and in second helps to fund initiatives to keep parks accessible for everyone. On top of being awarded by different consumer and design awards (2x Red Dot Award 2016 for example), the company was also named Outside Magazine’s Best Places to Work for two consecutive years.
