Petinka is a Slovak family-owned company of mom Petra (Petinka), dad Robert and daughters Anicka and Dorotka as well as a family friend Jozef. Not too many people that known Robert as an avid surfer would picture him as a wood maker, yet his heart was always in wood-making, making his own surfboards with his friend Jozef. So when they were looking into educational and fun tools for their first daughter, they were intrigued by Montesorri teachings and specifically by the learning tower. So when creating their first tower, all friends got involved, laying down their wishes and needs for their kids and it was obvious that if the tower supposed to satisfy everyone, it has to be flexible. And so the unique, adjustable system was born in 2017 under the name Little Buddy.

Made of wood, the variable tower can grow with your children and their capabilities, allowing them to have a different view on the world of grown-ups and providing the family with more quality time together. The hight can be easily adjusting as well as the safety of the tower by simply removing or adding side panels. Back panel or Ready-to-ativity-board consists of a unique magnetic pegboard with can host different games/tools that you choose, such as marble runs, rotary wheels, house of locks, siding box and others and can be also removed and used separately from the tower, once your child begins to build their own kingdoms out of their room.
And the activities can be switched with a simple pull with no tools required (except those that have a safety screw). Since the successful launch of the towers and activity boards, Petinka ventured in other fields such as wooden puzzles for kids. All products are made of natural wood and produced in Slovakia. All Petinka products have passed the European Safety Standards according to EN 71 regulation.

Why we love Petinka?

We love the flexibility of the tower and how stable it is even for such a stud that our two years old son is. And the fact that Petra and Rob's last names are Jedlička (which in Slovak translates as a fir: the favorite choice of Christmas trees) cannot be a coincidence either! :)
