Established in 2014 in Cologne, Germany, the brand uses 100% recycled PET as the main material for their products, keeping tons of plastic out of the landfill as well as saving hundreds of barrels of oil and water that are used in making virgin polyester.
The brand's recognizable two dots logo represents two opposite poles, with blue standing for sustainability and function, the red one complements it with emotions, inspiration, and innovation.
One of the main characteristics of pinqponq products is the functionality and attention to the details, such as the wide opening of the bags, or well-thought compartments and dividers that allow for better handling of items.

As the brand suggests, their main motives are to do better for the environment and have an as low impact as possible. One of the examples is that pinqponq products are PFC (perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals) free, compare to other brands that are making outdoor products. These chemicals, that are used for water-repellent items are extremely harmful to both people and the environment as they are non-degradable and therefore staying in organisms and suspected being carcinogenic and interfere with fertility. Instead, pinqponq uses NEOSEED®, a technology inspired by the lotus leaves repellency, so there are no fluorine chemicals involved.
For products made of vegan leather, the brand uses water-based polyethylene (PU) layer.
On top of all innovations, the brand is fully transparent about all aspects of the sourcing and production and is a member of bluesign® and Fair Wear Foundation. This organization also provides workers with “Worker Helpline” to solve any serious work problems.
Last, but not least, the brand is also Peta-approved VEGAN.
